In the close-up above, I am playing bass guitar and piano simultaneously. The bass makes sounds by striking the string with two middle fingers together and hammering against the fret.
I have been playing this style of two instruments together for forty + years; back in the day, it was often four hours a night, six nights a week!
Review from New York City Athletic Club when I was playing at the Casa Cordova, near Taos, NM in 1981: "The entertainer who plays in a living-room setting in the rustic lounge has a non-stop sequence of songs, stories, and patter that is engaging and entertaining.
